The NCAP New Practitioner Forum (NPF) is excited to host Leadership Buzz! This virtual program is designed to foster learning, reflection, and connection among pharmacists across North Carolina. Each session will be facilitated by distinguished pharmacy leaders who will guide engaging discussions and share unique perspectives.

Although hosted by the New Practitioner Forum, this series is open to all NCAP members who are passionate about personal and professional growth. Whether you’re a recent graduate or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll gain valuable insights, expand your knowledge, and strengthen your professional network.

Leadership Buzz with NCAP New Practitioner Forum: Podcast discussions around Crucial Conversations

Join NCAP’s New Practitioners Forum for a Leadership Buzz discussion focused on Crucial Conversations in pharmacy leadership. This session features guided discussion based on two podcast episodes: Think Fast, Talk Smart (Episode 207), “From Conflict to Connection: Having Crucial Conversations That Count,” and The Greg McKeown Podcast (Episode 80), “What’s Essential: Crucial Conversations with Joseph Grenny.” Participants are encouraged to listen to both podcast episodes prior to the discussion. We will explore strategies for navigating high-stakes conversations, managing conflict, and strengthening professional relationships while earning 1.0 hour of North Carolina CE.

Leadership Buzz with NCAP New Practitioner Forum: Everything Is Tuberculosis

Join NCAP’s New Practitioners Forum for a Leadership Buzz discussion centered on Everything Is Tuberculosis by John Green. This session will explore themes of global health equity, public health leadership, advocacy, and the pharmacist’s role in addressing systemic health challenges. Participants are encouraged to read the book prior to the discussion. Attendees will engage in guided conversation on how storytelling, compassion, and evidence-based action can influence healthcare leadership and public trust while earning 1.0 hour of North Carolina CE.
