NCAP Executive Fellowship in Association Leadership and Management

Join our highly motivated and innovative team here at the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP).  You could be our next Leadership & Management Executive Fellow.

The NCAP Executive Fellowship program is designed to develop a healthcare professional prepared to assume high-level leadership in a pharmacy practice or professional association by providing exceptional training in all areas of organizational development and administration.

The Fellow will be immersed in association management, practice advancement, quality improvement, professional development, and policy/regulatory activities. The program will develop awareness and skills in executive leadership, project management, member engagement, policy development, and non-profit administration. The experience will position the Fellow for leadership and management positions in pharmacy or other health-related associations, government and other career opportunities.

 

 

 

Application Information

Eligibility: graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy: new graduates, residency-trained individuals, and pharmacists seeking this experience to support career advancement, are all welcome to apply. A complete application is the submission of:

  • A letter of interest to include written responses to all three of the application questions
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Two letters of recommendation
Application questions:
  1. Please provide an overview of why you are applying for this Fellowship, and how you plan to utilize the experience in your future career. (400 words max)
  2. What personal strengths and experiences would you bring to NCAP? Include a description of your professional and/or community achievements, and future goals? (400 words max)
  3. In your opinion, what are the most important issues facing the profession of pharmacy in your state and nationally? (400 words max)
