Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disorder often associated with negative physical, psychosocial, emotional, and financial consequences. Despite the plethora of topical medications, biologic response modifiers, and biologic agents available, effective management of psoriasis continues to be a challenge. Therapy that is tailored to a patient's preferences, lifestyle habits, co-morbidities, and concomitant medications may provide relief of symptoms as well as treat the underlying condition. The approval of four medications in 2022 opens new doors for patients suffering from psoriasis.
